The Commonwealth has several toolkits to assist in strengthening processes for education policy development and review. These and other toolkits created by various organisations are listed below.

The Education Hub has developed an experimental search using Google to find policy documents related to Commonwealth countries.

The UNESCO Portal of Education Plans and Policies

Planipolis is a portal of national education plans and policies and key education frameworks and monitoring reports. It provides access to official education resources for national policy makers, donors and partners.

OER Policy Development Tool

The purpose of the OER Policy Development Tool is to promote the use of OER and scale efforts to full OER programs. The toolkit was developed by the Daniel DeMarte of Tidewater Community College and Amanda Coolidge of BCcampus .

OER Africa Toolkits

OER Africa has prepared toolkits in which users can find a collection of relevant information, guides, and templates pertaining to OERs, particularly issues around using and adapting OER materials. The purpose of the toolkits is to support the development and production of open educational materials that can be integrated into high quality programmes of learning.
